Thank you for confirming a recare dental appointment with Spa Creek Health. We will plan to see the patient for a future dental exam and cleaning when they are due, as well as any X-rays the patient may be due for (unless otherwise specified).

We will reach out via text or email with the exact date, when the date of the appointment is confirmed, typically a few weeks prior.

What is recare and why is it so important?:

Recare is a broad term for your regular preventative dental care as part of caring for your overall oral health.

A prophy cleaning is typically performed every 3, 4, or 6 months based on the state of the patient’s oral hygiene, and a periodic examination is done once every 6 months. Bitewing x-rays are taken once per year, and a full mouth series of x-rays is taken every 3 to 5 years.
